Demons 3 – The Ogre
(Lamberto Bava; 1988)
(Media Blasters/Shriek Show)
-Overview-
A woman vacationing in Italy with her family discovers that the terrifying nightmares about a fiend in a castle that took her teddy bear were real when they happen to rent the castle that her dream took place in. Boredom ensues.
I didn’t have high hopes for this one, but I didn’t expect it to be so goddamn dull. The film plods along with nothing happening at all. The “ogre” looks ok but he also reminds me of Gene Simmons, and there’s absolutely no gore and a small amount of T&A. The movie was made for Italian TV, but that’s no excuse to not have that chick with the huge jugs have her top ripped off. Stay away.
-Sound-
Mono.
-Picture-
The print is messed. There a segment where the picture cuts out and all you get is sound for about 5 seconds near the beginning of the film. Inexcusable. Widescreen.
