Creepozoids
(David DeCoteau; 1987)
(Koch Vision Entertainment)
-Overview-
In the near future, a nuclear war breaks out and ravages civilization. A rag-tag group of deserters stumbles across an experimental laboratory in an attempt to hide out and escape the deadly acid rain showers outside. Finding the deserted facility suitable for habitation until the war ends, the group makes plans to stay there indefinitely. Unbeknownst to them however, is a mutant creature running amok inside the building with them. Mayhem and rubber baby puppets ensue.
Poorly acted, derivative and entertaining are three adjectives that I feel are appropriate for describing this cheapie. There’s plenty of T&A (courtesy of the lovely Linnea Quigly, of course) and the gore sequences are adequate. Not an entirely bad diversion for fans of bad film. Rent before you buy.
