Cindy Wright
Commodore and Paddling Coordinator for
Victoria's
Ocean River Paddling Club (ORPC), and a Director of the Canadian
Outrigger Racing Association (CORA), Cindy has been coaching
dragon boating and outrigger canoeing for over eight years.
Cindy is also currently
training to complete her ELCC (Entry Level
Competitive Coaching) Level I Technical Certification from CanoeKayak Canada and
her NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program) Level III
Theory Certification. Cindy has also achieved many paddling
accomplishments herself including 7th Overall, 2004 World
Sprints OC6 (Hilo); 2nd Place Women's 500 m OC1, and 2nd
Place Marathon Canoe, 2005 World Masters Games; 1st Place, 2006
Island Iron; and 1st Place Overall Points, 2006 Open Women's
CORA Cup. |
