Things we like to see :
- Creativity and imagination utilized to it's fullest potential.
- Consistent backgrounds and uniform color scheme.
- At least 6 pages of quality content.
- Original, informative, entertaining or educational content.
- A family oriented site suitable for all ages.
- Applicants must be at least 14 years of age.
- If you use music, provide a turn off option.
- Copyrights observed and credit given where due.
- Top of page link when the pages exceed 3 scrolls.
- Clearly defined text link option if you use java script navigation.
- Page to display your awards won.
- A privacy policy for all sites that collect information.
Things we do not like to see :
- Font types and sizes that are not consistent or easy to read.
- Low quality graphics as a result of being over optimized.
- More than two animated graphics per page and broken images.
- Content which is not informative, entertaining or educational.
- Sites that contain only links and banners.
- Excessive spelling or grammar errors.
- Pages where the colours and backgrounds are not consistent.
- Under Construction signs or "Coming Soon" notices.
- Pop-up scripts asking for my name or password.
- Music or sounds without means to turn it off.
- Disabling the mouse right-click button.
- Flash sites with no "Skip Intro".
Automatic disqualification for the following :
- If it becomes obvious that you have not read our criteria.
- If the site contains pornography, racist/hate material.
- If the site promotes illegal activity of any kind. See Details
- If site contains only links and banners.
- Stealing bandwidth or using stolen images.
- If you have Trailing cursors or forced Comet cursor downloads.
- Under Construction signs or "Coming Soon" notices. See Details
- Copyright infringement. See what Copyright is?
- Horizontal scrollbar at 800 x 600 resolution resulting from poor page layout.
- If your site asks for personal information, and does not have a privacy policy.
- If you freeze or crash our browsers more than once.
- Scripts that prevent us from leaving your site and "ctrl - alt - delete" is needed to leave.
