You're unable to buy a beautiful sunset
or all the precious memories...

As the years of life have passed me by...
I've longed for many things.
Some with seemingly relentless pain.
Then...finally knowing what was best for me
God sent me both the sunshine and rain.
Hard times teach us to appreciate
all of those good times that come along.
If all of life was fun and pleasure...
How could we ever grow.
God in His infinite wisdom...
has given me many good years.
He has taught me the meaning of suffering...
in order that I may fully realize...
The peace and serenity within a simple sunset.
