For You Mom

These words are just for you Mom,
because we're proud of who you are,
and very proud of what you've done.

You are just so very beautiful,
not only on the outside but on the inside too.
You've brought us kids up so very well,
You've shown us how to be decent human beings,
You've simply taught us what love is all about.

You were always there for us,
and still are today, even though we're all grown up.
We're so very grateful for all the warmth,
love and kindness that you've shown us through the years.

There were times when your road was a rocky one,
but you kept your head up mile after mile.
And the amazing part was, that you always carried on
through all those rough times, with a smile upon your face.

You've lost loved ones along the way,
but some things are just meant to be.
But despite it all, you've built a loving family,
you've done it all alone and you've done it so beautifully.

You're simply an inspiration to all of us Mom,
and we are grateful for the lessons you've taught.
The love and kindness that you've given us,
is a priceless treasure that can't be bought.

You literally mean the world to us Mom,
you continue to do so much for everyone.
You are indeed our warmth and inspiration,
every day you are like a ray of morning sunshine.

Sometimes we've taken you for granted,
as we got caught up in the trials and tribulations,
of our own lives, but please just always remember,
it's because of you...that our lives simply thrive.

So we just wanted to say thanks,
that's really what these words are for.
Happy 80th Birthday Mom
and here's to another 80 more!
