My Fantasy
There is a place I used to go...
so secluded, yet so full of life.
Sitting alone under the shade of a tree...
peaceful as one could be.
Staring into the falling water...
the true beauty begins to emerge.
It's just so much more...
than the eye can see.
The water starts to dance from the falls...
new images seem to appear.
The water begins to ripple...
my mind begins to expand
into a fantasy.
Feelings of a lonely past
begin to surface.
I catch myself drifting
into some very special moments.
Remembering how they made me smile.
This was a very special place.
I've now found something new
to make me smile.
She's gentle and caring...
and listens to me.
She lets me touch her heart of gold...
a sight so beautiful to see.
Just like the waterfall was to me...
She has become my fantasy!
