Hello and welcome to my world. Here is where you will find out a little about me, the person behind the computer and my purpose for creating this website, as well why I chose to write and share my poetry the way that I do.
Here it is 2005...I began creating this website six years ago. I'm now 54, still single and never been married and I really have no reason for that other than I've just never found a lady that I wanted to settle down with for the rest of my life. I've also got very accustomed to being on my own and must say I've grown to rather enjoy my own space. Although I will admit, I've had my moments wondering what my life would have been like with a wife and family. There are no regrets though, and who knows I'm still young enough so you never know what could transpire in the years to come Eh! *Smile*
I was born in Weyburn Saskatchewan Canada in 1951 and all I really remember was the winters there. My dad used to flood the back yard and when it was frozen over I would find myself out on the ice pushing a chair around, as that was the only way that I could prevent myself from falling down. We lived there until I was five and then moved out to Beautiful Vancouver British Columbia Canada. I now live in Burnaby which is one of the many Municipalities that surround Vancouver, I just love it here as there is access to the ocean, mountains and just about anything else you could ask for when it comes to the outdoor lifestyle. Even our winters here are great compared to other parts of Canada, which are terribly cold. We really don't get much snow anymore except on the mountains, although we do get more than our share of rain it is still a very exciting and pleasant place to live.
