George passed away  March 9, 2000 at the age of 76 years.

 He is recognized as a legend Canadian Bush Pilot, flying for the Ministry of Natural Resources from 1952 -1985. George also served his country in the Canadian 28th Armoured Tank Corp., 4th Division, from 1942 -1946 with honour and decorations. As a front line trooper in Europe he was wounded, and returned to the front lines.

 It was a great honour knowing you George. There wasn't anything you couldn't do. Thanks for the all the laughs and the good times.
