The Canadian Academy of Private Investigation is a correspondence training course that provides the basics of investigative techniques to those wishing to enter the field of Private Investigation.  CAPI has trained over 450 persons in investigative techniques.  Your course is done at home, on your own time, and is then sent back to the academy for marking.  We believe that learning through "hands on training" is the best method for learning.
