These are facing directions - the direction in which you look while you're doing to activity.

Formula for calculating your Kua Number:
take the last two digits of your year of birth (x + y) and reduce down to one number then
calculate the following:
Men - 10 - (x+y) = kua number...if this comes to 5 then use #2
Women - 5 + (x+y) = kua number ...if this comes to 5 then use #8

Kua Number One
health - E, prosperity - SE, clarity - N, harmony - S

Kua Number Two
health - W; prosperity - NE, clarity - SW, harmony - NW

Kua number Three
health - N, prosperity - S, clarity - E, harmony - SE

Kua number Four
health - S, prosperity - N, clarity - SE, harmony - E

Kua number Six (there is no Five)
health - NE, prosperity - W, clarity - NW, harmony - SW

Kua number Seven
health - SW, prosperity - NW, clarity - W, harmony - NE
