We hope to have
our project completed in four years, hopefully it will
be sooner
but the plan is for four years. At that time we have to hire a
rather
large truck to transport the boat a Vancouver harbor. Our intentions
then are
to get jobs and work on our sailing kitty. We will live on board saving
as much
money as possible. Vancouver has some of the best sailing lessons
available,
so we 'll
learn all there is to learn, then on the weekends or days off
for the
next year or so we 'll sail around the Vancouver area as it has many
places
to see
& explore without being able to get into too much trouble. As
we build up our
confidence
we'll sail away for a week, then longer until we get very good. We
'll sail
the world
in time. Our first stop will be the Hawaii islands. We will stay there
for possibly
a few months
then move on to places beyond. The thought of learning about the cultures
in
various
different places is one thing the both of us are very much looking
forward to. We
watch all
kinds of sailing shows on T.V. when we have the time ,most of our
time now is spent
working
on the boat , sometimes as many as 10-12 hrs. a day{both of us are
not working at
present,
so our day begins when we feel like it, but it doesn't usually end
until its dark.
We plan to have the hull plated and turned by fall. Again we need
to hire a crane
to make this happen . Once the hull is turned we'll loft the inside
floor plans, as we are
making our own design, so it will not be the same as the plans . It
will be just the two of us sailing
so we can make the additional space work for us as storage, work space
etc.

This is what we hope to produce....
We saw this picture on Bruce's site, and both loved it
right away.
