| Modifying Basic DCG Campaign Parameters using DCG 5.0 or Greater |
| 1. Ensure that the campaign you want to edit is active. It's image should appear in the image box and the path is correct in the grey status bar. If not, select "Select" from the "Files" Menu and then the path of the campaign. Similarly, make sure the pilot is the pilot you wish to use in CFS2 and the correct nationality for the campaign you are playing. To choose a new pilot select "Pilot" from the "Files" menu. |

| 3. To change your starting aircraft, click on the "Player's Starting Aircraft" textbox. In the example above, the current player aircraft is the "daf_c200". When you click on the text box, a directory selection box should open. Find your main "Aircraft" folder and then inside it, select the plane you wish to fly. Double click on the folder and the directory selection box should close and folder name should appear in the textbox. |

| 4. To change your squadron's replacement
aircraft, click on the "Player's Later Aircraft" box and select as in 3
above.
5. To change the start date of the aircraft chosen in 4 above, click on the "Aircraft Replacement Date" text boxes and set the date. Select the date you want to begin flying the replacement aircraft. 6. To change allegiance, click on the "Player's Allegiance" text box and select the country you wish to fly for. If you change from an Allied country to an Axis country, you should also change the "Airfield" and, most importantly, the "Side" you are on. If you do not change the "Side", you will find, for example, that in New Guinea, the Japanese will be flying out of Port Moresby and the Allieds out of Lae! 7. Lastly, you can change the "Campaign Start Date" or "Campaign End Date" in the same way as 5 above. 8. Having followed all the directions, hit "Save" and exit. If you do not wish to save your changes, hit "Cancel" instead. |
