Lemony Snicket - ( 6 - 12 ) - this site created by author Lemony Snicker, retains the unique, quirky sense of morbid humour that has made his books such a success.

Rosemary Wells - ( PreK - 2 ) - children's author Rosemary Wells has her own Web site that focuses on quality, rather than quantitiy.

Eratosthenes of Cyrene - ( 6 - 12 ) - A versatile scholar, Eratosthenes of Cyrene lived approximately 275-195 BC. He was the first to estimate accurately the diameter of the earth. For several decades, he served as the director of the famous library in Alexandria. He was highly regarded in the ancient world, but unfortunately only fragments of his writing have survived. Eratosthenes died at an advanced age from voluntary starvation, induced by despair at his blindness.

New York Philharmonic Kidzone - ( K - 8 ) - this site from the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, meet musicians, soloists, and conductors in interviews with the orchestra that describe their training and their own musical heroes.
