"Heroes" - Action Figures from Episode IV to VI

Like the "Villains" shelf, I did my best to separate them in which Episodes they appeared in. All of the characters on the right appeared in Episode IV: A New Hope. And all of the characters in the middle appeared in Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. That then leaves all the characters on the left, which all appeared in Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi.

There are exceptions of course; main heroes like Luke, Han (ranked #14 on the American Film Institute's top 50 heroes of all time list), and Leia appear in all three films. But they do have some costume changes. For example Luke wears a stolen Stormtrooper uniform when he saves Leia in A New Hope, and Han wears a camouflage coat when on the forest covered planet of Endor in Return of the Jedi. Interestingly, C-3PO and R2-D2 are the only "Heroes" that appear in all three films without any costume changes. Of course that is to be expected since they are only droids.

Obi-Wan Kenobi (ranked #37 on the American Film Institute's top 50 heroes of all time list) technically also appears in all three films, but he only appears as a guiding spirit for Luke in Episodes V and VI.

And as you can see, not every character here is considered a "hero." However, with the exception of the Jawas and the Tusken Raider, every character here helped with the destruction of the Empire.
