The Temples and The Intahuatana Stone

This is a view from the quarry section. In the center of the picture you see the Principle Temple and the Temple With Three Windows. If you follow the stairs past the temples to the top of the hill, you will find the Intihuatana Stone, or the Hitching Post of the Sun.
Notice to the left of the two temples in the middle that there is a half-circle base and wall. All the tours and books claim the only place the Incas used curved walls was in the Temples of the Sun. But this wall, and on one wall in the Residential Section are curved. If anyone knows the significance of wither of these curved walls, please e-mail, because I would like to know......
