Hiking Trail, Banff, Alberta

As you wind your way around tunnel mountain and head back to the east road into Banff, you come through a clearing, and then cut through some trees. This is the view (more or less) east, looking back towards Mount Rundle.

This trail is used by mountain bikers as well as hikers, and the area between these trees is rather worn, and the roots have been exposed, forming a very nice tangle.  We are in the shade, looking out into the sun-lit meadow.  The trees frame the path, and draw your attention to the back of the picture......
