He's listed in the 1862 & 1864 Toronto Directories at Phoenix House, 162 King Street which was also his home. Note that first child Samuel William died at 9 days. At the time of his death, at age 74, he was living at 6 Radenhurst Street. His daughter, Mary Ann, is also listed at the Radenhurst address until her death in 1902. This address doesn't exist in modern Toronto. She died of heart disease at age 66. They appear in two censuses. First in 1861, where William is age 26, and they are living in the east 1/2 of ward 1, York twp., on an acreage, with 4 cows.
