OziExplorer Information

How to use OziExplorer

The OziExplorer Help File is very good, and quite extensive, so it's always a good idea to see if your questions are answered by the information in the Help File. There are a lot of features in OziExplorer, so it's also a good idea to take the time to read the entire Help File - you may find features you didn't know about.

If you have questions about how to use OziExplorer, the best place to ask them is on the OziExplorer Users Mailing List Yahoo Group. The message archive is available to everyone, and can be searched, but to post a question to the mailing list you will have to join the group.

In addition to searching the Mailing List message archive via the Yahoo interface, you may be able to find information in the message archive by using a search engine such as Google and including "oziusers-l" as one of your search terms.

OziExplorer DAT files

Some OziExplorer functionality can be controlled by the addition of ".dat" files to the OziExplorer program directory. I have created a list of these files that covers both the files that are explained in the OziExplorer Help File, as well as others.

OziExplorer Utilities

Make sure to check out the OziExplorer Utilities page, including the Optional Extras Page.

I maintain the list of 3rd party utilities that work in conjunction with OziExplorer.

Mailing List postings

I have posted over 2000 messages on the OziExplorer Users mailing list. Most of those are replies to people's questions. Listed below are some of my postings that provide information about using OziExplorer or data that can be used with OziExplorer.
