You'll find stuff here from every decade since the 60's, but don't expect any pearls of wisdom. I took my first major trip around the world 35 years ago when I was in my twenties. Like any other traveller, I've made mistakes to the point of anquish and lived wonderful, unplanned delights that I shall never forget. Now, as I enter my most-times-wise and venerable senior years, I find my enthusiasm for travel as strong as ever but my body calling more of the shots. I go to bed earlier and I absolutely, must have comfortable shoes. But I have more time to get there and I see more than ever before. I know there's a few good trips left yet.

January!  Such luxury.  Joan takes a leave to accompany me but we travel by different airlines and routes.  The purpose of this cruise is to Scuba Dive.  I've recently completed the PADI certificate in the freezing Victoria waters.  In Cozumel, my daughter and I were fortunate to have a "movie maker" along on a scuba dive.  If you have any interest in diving in warm, tropical water, check this out.
