60's, but don't expect any pearls of wisdom. I took my first major trip
around
the world 35 years ago when I was in my twenties. Like any other
traveller,
I've made mistakes to the point of anquish and lived wonderful,
unplanned
delights that I shall never forget. Now, as I enter my most-times-wise
and
venerable senior years, I find my enthusiasm for travel as strong as
ever
but my body calling more of the shots. I go to bed earlier and I
absolutely,
must have comfortable shoes. But I have more time to get there and I
see
more than ever before. I know there's a few good trips left yet. |
