The Renaissance Retirement Residence is privately owned by a Victoria family, through a holding company called Victoria Apartment Properties Ltd.

Victoria Apartment Properties was incorporated in August 1994 to acquire and hold real estate on behalf of the Miller family.

Victoria Apartment Properties developed the concept of The Renaissance in early 1997.

Victoria Apartment Properties' principal, Darvin Miller has been involved in property acquisition and real estate development since 1968. 

He remains involved in the day to day operation of The Renaissance business.

Victoria Apartment Properties’ office is located in The Renaissance.
