Barrett Jackson Collector Car Auction Trip Pics January 2006

Welcome! I have stored all my pictures from my 2006 Barrett Jackson Auction trip on the Flickr photos web site. Click the links below to look at the pictures from each day. Enjoy!

Day 1 Arrived in Scottsdale, Arizona. Made it to the Auction by late afternoon. You know the tent is big when you see it from the airplane, WOW. Took some shots in the tents where cars are stored before going across the block.

Day 2 Pt. 1 First full day at the Auction. Talk about eye candy! Lots of cars and vendor displays to check out.

Day 2 Pt. 2 More cars, more vendors.

Day 3 Got there early so we could check out the Automobila auction held before the car auction each day. Had a nice chat with one of the Baldwin Motion rep's and managed to go behind the stantions to get a close up look at the Baldwin Camaro. Left early so we could go check out the Friday night Drag racing at "Firebird International Raceway".

Day 4 Watched all the big name cars go through in prime time, including the 4 million dollar bus.

Day 5 Found out a great place to take pics is in the area behind the photo tent just before the entrance to the 4 lane area in front of the auction tent. Most of the cars are lined up one behind the other and hoods and doors are shut.

Day 6 Since the Auction was now over we spent this day checking out cool places like the "Toy Box", "Paul Yaffe Originals", "SoCal speed Shop", and "TA Performance". Every place we went treated us great!

the Drifting Demo's Ford put on a drifting Demo each day using two Ford Mustangs and a Focus, We were close to the action and enjoyed the show twice.
