A.D.D. was formed in 2006 in B.C.'s Lower Mainland. The vision of the band is, and always was, to be the #1 cover band on the active circuit. We've went to great lengths to assemble a group of top notch musicians/vocalists, with a passion for the music, and their instrument.
A.D.D.'s live show is energetic and entertaining, featuring some of the greatest hits from the late 70's to today's current radio hits. The band is a power trio, and occasionally operates as a 4-piece when the event calls for a 4th member, which would add keys/guitar/vocals. As a 3-piece, we work fairly heavily with sequencing, giving us a larger than life sound. Sequencing gives us the ability to incorporate keys/horns/strings/piano and many other sounds to our songs, without the addition of an extra member on stage. This is idea for smaller venues such as pubs, small nightclubs, weddings, and events with somewhat modest budgets.
Our show also features cutting edge sound and lighting, with lazer and effect lighting sync'd in time with our music for added visuals. Dana Acker, band founder and leader, is a professional sound and recording engineer, ensuring each show to be of the highest sound quality. A video projection screen is something in the works for the band's near future.
A.D.D. has an ever-growing song list, with literally hundreds of songs from various artists and genres. No matter what your musical preference is, we likely play a variety of songs you will enjoy. From 70's classic rock, 80's pop/rock, 90's alternative, to today's top 40 rock & pop - we cover it all. We will keep you dancing and singing along all night, and thoughougly entertained as well. Our show is very interactive, filled with elements of humor, sing-alongs, and even the occasional guest singer from the audience.
