| For
each second of war in Iraq the US spent $12,730. That is twice what
the US spends per child per year for primary education. |

Welcome to the Comox Valley Peace
Group's web site. The CVPG was first formed in the mid-70s and has been active ever since. The majority of the content of this website was first published back in 2003 when the US was just preparing to launch the Iraq War. We'll leave this older content here as it is a pretty good historical record of the beginnings of this awful war.
Please visit this site frequently as we'll be keeping you updated with the local news and announcements from the CVPG.
Are you
lonely? Are you sick and tired of watching the generals on TV and want
to say "NO" to war? Do you want to get involved in the local
peace movement? Click HERE
to send an email to the Comox Valley Peace Group to find
out how you can get involved and help us.
