- Coffee Morning every second Friday of the month 10:00 a.m. to11:30 a.m.

Palliative Home Program
- One-to-one volunteers provide face-to-face support and/or phone support.
- Partners with Home Care Nursing, Home Support Workers, Cowichan District Hospital, Canadian Mental Health, and Family Life. (Visit our Resources links.)
Palliative Hospital Program
- Volunteer coordinators and volunteers visit and support palliative patients and their families at Cowichan District Hospital and the Cowichan Lodge.
- Hospice tranquility garden, third floor at Cowichan District Hospital - everyone welcome.
- Our extensive library of books and videos is available during our office hours.
Spiritual and Pastoral Care
- Hospital pastoral care coordinator/chaplain is available upon request.
- Client's own priest, minister, or pastor can be contacted on client's behalf, if desired.
Vigil Program
Volunteers provide support through the last hours of life at the Cowichan District Hospital, Ladysmith Hospital, Chemainus Hospital, Cowichan Lodge, and Cairnsmore or in a client's home as needed.
Referrals
Hospice must be invited to help. We accept referrals from:
- Family and friends
- Family doctors
- Hospitals
- Regional nursing and other health professionals
- Community agencies
- Clergy
- Self
A hospice coordinator will contact the client and family and arrange
a home or hospital visit.
