Making your CMD HD Hard Drive expandable
Over the last 9 years there has been a lot of activity around expanding the storage capacity available to users with CMD Hard Drives. These devices are great for adding fast, accessible storage to your Commodore System. By utilizing other SCSI Storage Devices it is possible to further expand the storage capabilities of the CMD HD.
Nowadays, however, it is tough to find the information on setting up the HD to work with a Zip Drive or how to install a Zip or Magneto-Optical Drive into the HD case. These articles are provided here for archival purposes since the original sources of the information have disappeared.
Any modifications to equipment mentioned in these articles that you choose to undertake are completely at your own risk. Make sure you fully understand what has to be done and are capable of performing the modifications before attempting to modify your equipment.
For any references to CMD you should be aware that Click Here Software took over all production of CMD Hardware as of July 21, 2001. For CMD Hardware and Software check the Click Here Software web site at http://cmdrkey.com.
