But, I had already laid out the page numbers and appendices so it is just easier to leave things as they are than to try to change everything around. 888888888DI am not going to provide a step by step process for 888888888@importing the geoPub24 article into the TutorialPart4 geoPublish (gP) document. By now you should know how to do that all on your own. If you want a process to follow read the format20 article as it deals with importing a 3 page article that begins on a left page. Just remember that the referenced page numbers will be different. On Page 52 use the title "Old Dog, New Tricks". On Page 53 just use "Old Dog" and on Page 54 just use "New Tricks". The rest is just the same. 888888888DFor this format24 article we have two choices on how to 888888888@add this to our Project. Each gP document is limited to only 16 geoWrite (gW) files. Our AppendixA file already has 16 gW files in it. We can either create a second gP file or we can reduce the number of gW files. I am going to choose the latter as it is a bit simpler in the long run. 888888888DLuckily, we have a program by@ Nick Vrtis called 888888888@@Combiner (3/4/89 4:03 PM) which will do just what we want. Check under the Help menu for full documentation. The 2 files we are going to combine are format11 and format12 which share page 60. Start by making a copy of format11 called format112. To append format12 to format112 run Combiner, press the Begin menu, select format112 and click Open, select format12 and click Open, Click OK. 888888888DStart gP and open the AppendixA file. `Goto page' 60 and 888888888@clear the regions in both columns (grey shaded tool above Show button). Press Show to ripple the page. Import format112 into the Left and then Right regions. Now `goto page' 71 and create a new page. On Page 72 import the format24 article into the left and right regions. Don't forget to place the end of article Splat mark. This will finish off the TutorialPart4 and AppendixA files. Print Thumbnail pages for each of these gP documents. Now we have to complete our PP Project file. 888888888p @Completing the Project 888888888DOn Page 50 in article 23 we began to create our PostPrint 888888888@Project file. We ended off by pasting our Poster page onto Page 51 of the Project. It is almost time to finish the Project. First, make sure you have completed the `Practice Session' portion of geoPub24. Once you have done that continue on with the next paragraph. 888888888DStart PostPrint, Open the TOTALTUT Project File and 888888888@goto page 51 if it doesn't open there. Create the next page and then paste in the TutorialPart4 gP file. Goto Page 64 and create the next page. Paste in Poster Page 3 on Page 65 and then create 2 new pages. On Page 67 paste in the AppendixA gP file. 888888888DGoto Page 82 and create a new page. Paste in Poster 888888888@Page 5 on Page 83 and then create 2 new pages. It is setup in 888888888@such a way that you can print the entire Project at once if you have a duplexing printer and it will print off the way we want. Once you print off the Project you have to insert the Thumbnail pages into Appendix B before putting your printouts into a binder or getting them Cerlox bound.
