One of the main reasons for the formation of CUE was to collectively purchase the TPUG (Toronto Pet Users Group) disk library. This was done and the club has also purchased many other disks over the years including the Commodore Educational Library. A complete listing will be updated here as soon as possible.
Not only do we have disks we also have most of the magazines to go with these disks. These sets include Ahoy!, Compute!, Compute!s Gazette, Input and Transactor.
Along with our collection of Magazines and Disks the club has a lot of books about C= computers including many of the books published by Compute! Publications. Ask and you will likely find what you are looking for.
CUE was also a distributor for The Write Stuff (TWS) Word Processing Program. This excellent Word Processor comes in versions for the 64 and the 128 as well as being offered on 5 1/4" and 3 1/2" disks. With our group purchasing power we got the program a lot cheaper than an individual user could purchase it and sold over 100 copies of the various versions.
Another excellent program we offered with group discounts was Fun Graphics Machine. This program lets you create almost any printed material you want to. Including and manipulating graphics is very easy to do and many font styles are supported. This program was one of the featured demos at our Nov. '96 meeting.
Don't forget to check in and see what disks we have. The cost of getting a copy of any of them is relatively small and the process is a simple one.
