Games
from Ahoy! Magazine
by Cleveland M. Blakemore
In the span of a
little less than 3 years Ahoy! Magazine published 35 game programs
for the C-64 and C-128 by Cleveland M. Blakemore. Many of these games
pushed the limits of the computers and used graphics features other
programmer's avoided (for example - Dark Fortress is a two player
adventure game where each player has their own separate monitor to
play on – C-128 with both 40 AND 80 column monitors required).
Permission was
received from Cleve Blakemore on September 28, 2004 to make these
games available as copyrighted freeware.
The
accompanying articles have been scanned in and saved on the disks
with the game programs in Busy Bee Software's The Write Stuff (TWS)
format and also as True ASCII files (-name.asc).
