Campbell-Stone has been serving the Southwest Quadrant of Calgary for over 30 years. We are an ecumenical congregation affiliated with the United Church of Canada and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). The United Church is Canada's largest denomination and The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), although not well known in Canada, is one of the largest denominations in the United States. The logos of the two (The Chalice is the Disciple logo) are at the side.  Click on the appropriate logo for more information on that denomination.
To discover and celebrate the reality of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. To help all people put their faith in Jesus Christ that they may increasingly understand and do God's will. To respond to the prayer of Jesus Christ for unity and harmony in the lives of people, the life of the Church, the community, and the world."
  1. To make it possible for people to put their faith in Jesus Christ and to become actively committed to His Church.

  2. To help people grow in grace and in knowledge of Christ, that increasingly they may know and do God's will.

  3. To work for the unity of all Christians and with them engage in the common task of responding to God's Kingdom.

  4. To be a "forgiving" community promoting reconciliation between people.

  5. To be of service to those with whom God has entrusted us.

We are a warm and inviting congregation. All are welcome.

Sunday morning is the life-blood of the church. We are led in worship of our God; we hear teaching from the Scriptures; we partake of communion; we pray together; and we encourage one another. It is a time for renewing our sense of community and expressing our love and concern toward one another.

Our worship style could be described as a blend of traditional and informal.

The congregation is cross-generational. Children are an important part of our congregation and we have an active and vibrant Sunday School program.
