Scrying Dish:
· A relatively minor artifact that allows the user to locate individuals by burning a picture of the target on the dish while dangling a pendulum above it.
· I've known about it for some time, but it never really interested me. However, this changed recently when the Scrying Dish played a prominent role in one of my dreams. In the dream I was given the quest to find such a dish,
and nothing else mattered. Even when Cthulhu himself rose from the ocean depths all that mattered was me finding the dish.
· Because of this, all efforts should be made to obtain this artifact.
Shining Trapezohedron
· Used by the Church of the Starry Wisdom to worship an avatar of Nyarlathotep called Haunter of the Dark.
· Forged on Yuggoth and brought to the Earth by the Mi-Go back in the Jurassic period.
· In its long history on Earth, the Shining Trapezohedron has had many owners including: The Elder Things, the Pharaoh Nephren-Ka and most recently the Church of the Starry Wisdom.
· After the destruction of the Church of Starry Wisdom in 1934, the Shining Trapezohedron was said be have been thrown in the ocean of the coast of Providence, Rhode Island.
· The Shining Trapezohedron is said to have three main powers:
- A window to all space and time.
- Summer Nyarlathotep as the avatar Haunter of the Dark.
- Aid in bodily transformations, such as is performed with the Simulacrum of Tulzscha
Sign of Barzai:
· An artifact currently in our possession.
· Consists of a small disk with small writing written on it in a concentric circles pattern.
· When it touches someone it completely paralyses them.
· Very difficult to reproduce.
Silver Whistle:
· A silver whistle is required to successfully summon our Star Steeds, a.k.a. Byakhees.
· It must be made of Silver and Iron from a meteorite.
· The exact method of enchanting is currently under research.
Space Mead:
· Not so much an artifact as an elixir.
· Drinking Space Mead will protect the user from the harsh conditions while travelling in space, however, the user must have a method of traveling in space.
· This golden liquid leaves the user in a dream like state.
· May also be used to see distance events that will affect the user.
· Some feel that under the effects of Space-Mead a person doesn't actually travel through space, but merely astrally projects themself. It is unknown if this is true, or if it is true for only certain users or if there are more than one elixir named Space-Mead.
Staff of the Black Pharaoh:
· A staff with an Eagle headpiece. Associated with the Black Pharaoh, a form of Nyarlathotep.
· We don't currently know how to use this artifact but research is continuing.
· It will suck the very live essence out of anyone who touches it, including the user if they do not know its secrets.
· Apparently it stores it and can be used later. How this feature is activated is a mystery right now.
Thag Weed:
· Thag weed may be an alternative to Space Mean.
· Appears to only exist in the Dreamlands.
· More research is needed to judge its viability.
Zenig of Aphorat
· Very little is known about this artifact, other than tiniest of scraps of information Nyarlathotep told Carter.
· It is named after the man who's the skull it was crafted from. Apparently this man tried to reach the unknown Kadath, which is never a wise plan. You can pretty much guess the rest of his story.
· While there is only one original, occasionally copies have been made.
· While they are powerless, they do look cool and I'm always looking for one.
Zoog Juice:
· Has nothing to do with Tulzscha but is fun to drink.
· Created by the Zoogs of the Enchanted Woods.
· If travel to the Dreamlands becomes necessary to obtain Thag Weed, we might as well pick up some Zoog Juice while we are there.
