Right: Practicing stationary jumping in a Masai village that we visited. A traditional sport but one with practical purposes for the Masai as it allows them to see further into the distance.

In September we took a week off and went touring with Chris's dad.  The first half we spent in Winnipeg visiting Sherilyn.  The second half we spent in Jasper

Right: One day we hiked up to the Tiger's Nest Monastery, located a few miles outside of Paro, Bhutan. Sheila part way up the 1,100 meter hike under some prayer flags.  Prayer flags are found everywhere in these Buddhist countries.

Below: . The monastery has 7 temples and is perched on the side of very steep cliff. To get from where the picture was taken to the monastery there were hundreds of very uneven steps down and back up again.
