Most of the pictures here are from October 12, 2005.

The top two pictures were taken in October 2006. It's coming along.

The top two pictures here were taken by the appraiser in October 2006. We hope to get it painted this winter and into the interior shop in early  March, 2007.  Evan built the console this fall. Lots of bling on the steering column. :)
These two images of Evan and me were taken in August 2005. He does most of the work and I pay the bills.

We fired up the 350 small block Chevy engine in August. Everything worked well.

Still need to get a few minor things done before we drive it down the road. A few hours of brake work and odds and ends.

The final assaults on the paint and interior will happen some time in 2006.

The images below were taken on the Thanksgiving weekend, 2005.

This is the restored original gauge cluster. It was rebuilt at United Speedometer Service in Riverside, California. It was a tad on the pricey side (thank heavens our dollarette was stronger last winter), but  I think well worth the cost and it will be one of the highlights of the interior. Maybe the gauges are some sort of mental justification for the other mods we did on the car ... the stuff that would drive the 'teakers crazy.  :)
This is control central--Evan's garage.
