The Soldiers
of Rallos Zek, the Warlord, believe in survival of the strong and death
to the weak. The heart of a true follower of Zek yearns for strength,
courage, but above all, victory. The Zaorans are his foot soldiers and
are much more fierce in battle than they look.
Through the millennia of endless war, their bodies have either decayed
into horrid, shambling forms or they have transcended to energy. The Warmonger's
chosen are called Rallosians, and are charged with leading the Zaorans
into battle… and making sure they don't stray from battle against the
enemy to warring within their own faction.
The Soldiers
of Rallos Zek are at war with:
Akessan and Honor Guard/Akessan Elders and Marr's Chosen Mithaniel Marr,
Erollisi Marr, Ralthazor, Akessan Council, and Keeper of Memories
Once you've ported into ZP, you'll be located in the (c) part of the zone. Head east to the first building on your right. Around the side you will find some Zaorans around a campfire. Speak with Lieutenant Ugmar to begin the process of allying yourself with the evil Zaorans.
1. In speaking with Lt. Ugmar, you will be asked to kill Puig. Puig resembles an ancient death nec pet, cons yellow, and is tough to solo. Kill Puig and return his staff to Lt. Ugmar.
2. Lt. Ugmar will then ask you to obtain 3 pieces of Boar Meat. You will find Wild Boars close by - kill these until you've obtained the 3 pieces of meat and return to Lt. Ugmar.
3. Next, you will need to con around and speak with 3 "fallen Zaorans"; they are located out on the plain in front of the building where Lt. Ugmar is (near the portals: Divine, Fiery & Arcane). Once you've spoken to one, if you wait, he'll spawn back in the same location. (xp!)
4. Lt. Ugmar next sends you to kill the Poisoned Akessan which is located at the back of building near a signal fire. Kill the Poisoned Akessan, loot the Translucent Akessan Armor (4 drops) and return it to the Rallosian Arcanist located in the se corner of the building.
5. Next, Lt. Ugmar sends you to get an explosive device from the Rallosian Arcanist and take it to the fire at the Akessan encampment. You receive a popup, dropping the explosive device which spawns an Akessan Battle Mage in invisible form. Once you kill him, another Akessan Battle Mage spawns – kill, loot an Akessan Talisman (4 drops) and return to the Lt.
6. Lt. Ugmar next asks you to talk to Morduk and slay the guards around him. He is located on the rooftop of Lt. Ugmar's tower. Receive popup at the top of building, kill the guards. Doing so flags entire group, all will be able to speak with Morduk. Return to the Lt.
7. Next, you will need to take a note to the Honor Guard camp located east of Lt. Ugmar
8. Then Lt. Ugmar gives you a large bag to capture the Marrs Cryptographer. Kill him, then con the defeated Cryptographer and "speak" to him. Return to Lt. Ugmar (xp!). Cryptographer needs a couple of groups at least.
9. Finally,
you are directed to find and slay the Akessan Battle Priest (drops 5 wands)
and the Honor Guard Captain (drops 5 lances) and return their weapons
to Lt. Ugmar:
* The
Akessan Battle Priest is located in the Akessan encampment where
the Akessan Collector is located. First you need to con and kill an Akessan
Battle Priest, and then kill the visible one that immediately spawns.
Kill the Akessan Battle Priest and loot Battle Priest’s Wand (4 drops)
* The Honor Guard Captain spawns in the Honor Guard building (Honor
Guards are posted at the bottom of the ramp), his placeholder is the npc
that stands in the middle against the back wall behind the barrels. Took
3 hours of farming the placeholder to get the captain to finally spawn
- CS took him down with 2 groups.
10. Return both the Honor Guard Lance and the Battle Priest Wand to Lt. Ugmar to complete this quest. You are now welcomed to the Zaoran team.

You are now
able to log the armour quest by
speaking with Lieutenant Kognar. You will need to farm these 12 gems
for him to craft your armour:
Boots: Jandice gem and flawed carnelian
Bracelet: Flawed emerald and garnet
Gloves: Peridot and a flame emerald
Helm: Black marble and amethyst
Leggings: Flawless aquamarine and a sea sapphire
Tunic: Black diamond and flawless diamond
During the farming for your armour gems, make sure you turn in the weapons for faction. You must get your faction to 2k with Rallos Zek; turning in the weapons help, but you can also complete the "Portal Quests" now located up in ZP. You'll want to complete the Divine and/or Arcane Portal quests. Also, keep you eyes out for NPCs you can help with recon work, setting traps, finding traps enemies have set, or taking down traitorous spies. All these quests help improve your faction.
Once you've completed your gem farming, and had your armour made, talk to Lt. Ugmar who will give you a Rallos Insignia. The insignia allows you to destroy your armour (which takes up six inventory spaces) but still have proof that you completed the Zek armour quest.
Ensure your faction with Rallos Zek is 2k and you will be able to log the ability quest with the Master Spellsmith. He simply requires that you turn over a Mystical Parchment and will exchange it with your ability. This is a fairly common drop. Abilities by archetype.
At this point speak with Lt. Ugmar and he gives you the quest for Commander and Soldiers of Zek faction (+350) so that you will be flagged to enter zek castle without being ported off.
Completing the Armour set and ability quest will give you access to a blacksmith, banker and a grocer.
Note: Complete your Arios 59 quest, you'll GAIN faction with the Zaoran brotherhood. It has been said that you lose faction, but if you read our walkthrough carefully, you can actually come away with +990 faction!
