Solariss. Daughter to the High elves of the old Takish Hiz, the
great elven empire. Until the dark elves came. They brought with
them evil and chaos and burned most of the city to the ground.
With
a little piece of the city still remaining. The elves gathered their
fallen and assembled an army to hold off the dark elves while others
escaped their destructive path. Along with these heroic elves were
Solariss's parents, Vesper and Norann Skyleaf. They sent Solariss
with the others north to ensure her survival as they knew their
doom was soon to come. One of the greatest battles was about to
began. Thousands of Dark elves marched through the city to meet
head on with a few hundred Elves. Swords
clanged, shields were broken, lightning and fire warped the lands.
The battle lasted for hours and the elves fought valiantly but in
the end.. evil prevailed. Takish Hiz was reduced to rubble.
Several
years later, in the temples of Fayspire, hope remains. Solariss.
She was as wise as the gods, as beautiful as Tunare herself and
more powerful than any foe who crossed her. Solariss would one day
avenge her parents and right what had been wronged. Her name spread
quickly through out Tunaria. But rumors reached her elvish ears
of a monstrosity in the lands known as the great unknown. These
creatures killed at will and were able to individually take out
numerous others at the same time.
Solariss
would put an end to this. She set out on a quest to challenge these
demons and leave victorious. If only she knew what she was getting
herself into.. She came into a territory known as the Geomancers
Citadel, Solariss had heard rumors of a crazed magician named Sarek
from there. He sits in a high tower in the middle of the water and
only his guardians, known as Archons hold the key to getting to
him. With this fact known Solariss knew that Sarek wanted the Archons
to be slain so that someone might one day attempt to fight him.
Solariss found an underwater passage, she proceed through. On the
other side she met a creature known as Grundle, a clay sort of beast.
And he meant business. Without wasting any time Solariss defeated
Grundle.
Geomancers
Citadel was a waste land, Solariss could tell that many battles
had been fought here and changed the lands and many more were still
to come. Eventually Solariss had found it. The towers where the
Archons reside. She was going to tackle the south tower first and
then make her way to the north. In the south tower Solariss teleported
up to the top floor were Archon Aereth was ready for combat. She
knew this was not going to be easy as Aereth looked to be a formable
opponent. Archon Aereth mastered in the arts of poison and put up
quite a fight but luckily Solariss had mastered the ways of resisting
poisons. Solariss put up a glorious fight. She burned Aereth with
her potions and struck her with powerful lightening abilities. And
eventually Archon Aereth had fallen.
With
one key down and one to go, Solariss was ready for the next one.
She made her way over to the north tower, but she didn't teleport
right away. Solariss had to prepare herself, she knew Archon Vetash,
the master of fire was going to push her to her limits. Her fire
potions were only going to do so much against Vetash. She had to
use everything she could and hit him where it counts. She teleported
up. Solariss now became worried as the fighting grounds were much
different from the one with Aereth. This tower was much smaller
and left little room for Solariss to evade Vetash's attacks. Vetash
laughed as he saw the concern on Solariss's face. Angered, Solariss
began hurling her potions of destruction at the mighty archon. Vetash
launched his fireballs towards Solariss, badly wounding her. She
even called upon the roots of tunaria to aid her in battle, but
they didn't do much as Vetash was capable of filling the entire
room with fire. The battle wagged on. Fire hitting the potions created
massive explosions, throwing Solariss to the wall. The last explosion
left the room covered in dust, and the room was consumed in silence.
All hope seemed lost for Solariss, but once the dust had settled
it revealed Archon Vetash down on his knees, gasping for air.
'How.. How could one defeat the mighty Vetash.. WHO ARE YOU?'
'I am Solariss.'
'Sarek will destroy you, and i will laugh in your face when he does,'
said Vetash.
'Unfortunately, Vetash, you will not be around to see your master
fall!'
And
without missing a beat Solariss landed the final blow. With both
keys in hand she was ready. But a cold sweat overcame Solariss as
she stood on the shores gazing at the tower, that which might hold
her greatest victory or her doom. She knew this wasnt going to be
like the rest.. she knew she couldnt do this alone.. but she had
to, she wanted to. While patiently awaiting a good time to strike
Solariss went over everything that she had learned throughout her
years. Everything that she had done led her to this final moment.
Deep down she knew she wasnt leaving that tower alive.. ignoring
those thoughts she forged the keys to together and teleported to
Sareks tower.
Inside..
the room was dark.. very dark.. lit only by a few torches.. it was
dead silence.. until a whisper comes from inside the darkness..'Solariss..
I have been waiting...' Fear quickly runs through Solariss's body
as she stares into the eyes of Sarek.. he approaches.. Solariss
blinks and begans her assault...
