Gertrude is a GIANT bear located in the Bear Cave zone. She is part of the Ogre necromancer 20 path quest. She's one of ancient ogres from before the darkness in their minds. Gertrude is a shaman that took bear form and wondered off from oggok long long ago. She was hurt and healed by a very old druid. They became friends and eventually traveled together to that cave and he left her there. He died of old age while away from her. She waits there for him to return and remembers little of being an ogre or even her name after the many years alone.
