Easy day trips will take you to a wide variety of world class tourist attractions in the area. These include hiking and skiing in both Banff National Park and Kananaskis Country west of Calgary. The Royal Tyrell Dinosaur Museum at Drumheller, the Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump museum at Fort Macleod, and the beautiful Cowboy Trail (Highway 22) which runs through the scenic foothills from Cochrane to the Waterton Lakes International Peace Park.
 

Other attractions include craft and boutique centres in Cocharne and Bragg Creek, the Rosebud Dinner Theatre and the annual Passion Play at Drumheller.
