Fun With Dick and Jane

        Jim Carrey and Tea Leoni star as Dick and Jane Harper in this remake of the original movie. They are middle-class people who believe that their life will improve dramatically when Dick is offered a huge promotion where he works. However, just as he starts his new job, he is used as a Scapegoat by those he works for. His bosses have been skimming money from the company, and Dick quickly blamed for the downfall of the company. Dick and Jane's lives quickly go downhill, and Dick decides to take revenge on his former employers.

        There are certainly some funny parts throughout the movie, but the plot and storyline simply were not designed for a comedy, and least not a decent one. The only thing that holds this film together are the humorous chemistry between Jim Carrey and Tea Leoni. The entire movie is predictable and lacks originality. I do not recommend this movie.
