        This movie stars Dennis Quaid (Day After Tomorrow) as a pilot who is assigned to fly a crew out of the Gobi Desert, after their search for oil turns up nothing. He is ordered to shut down operations and fly them back to civilization. On the flight, they encounter a major sand storm, which crashes the plane. They come up with the idea to build a new plane out of the parts, but much do so on limited supplies of food and water. Their only guide is a man who claims to have knowledge on how planes are built. During a month of challenges and battling of ego, they are forced to build a working plane or die in the desert. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie from beginning to end. The characters and plot are very well developed, the special effects are seamless and not overdone, and the circumstances make it easy to relate to on a human level. I highly recommend this movie.
