Matthew McConaughey and Sarah Jessica Parker star. A
thirty-something year-old man (McConaughey) who still lives with
his parents begins to date a woman (Parker) of his dreams. They
start off slow as friends, but quickly begin to fall in love.
However, just as things are going very well, He and his friends
begin to suspect she is up to something. They soon find out that
she has been hired by his parents as a way to get him out of the
house. What remains unanswered is are they really in love, and
if so, can he forgive her and his parents for what happened,
which are the questions the movie ends up answering.
Altogether, a very entertaining movie. There are very few scenes
where you will not find yourself laughing, sometimes
hysterically! The plot and storyline are solid and well
thought-out. What works best for this film is the incredible
chemistry between the characters. The film even manages to fit
in some heartwarming scenes without taking away from the movie
itself. A very fun and enjoyable movie, one of the best I've
seen in years! I highly recommend it! |
