Information about LCSI software for children developed by educators from MIT. Included are for older children, 'MicroWorlds Logo' (French version 'MicroMondes' available summer '99), and for younger children, 'My Make Believe Castle' (French version 'Mon Chateaux Imaginaire' was available - has been discontinued). These products let students learn through exploration, creation and construction. They develop: Imagination/Creativity, Problem Solving and Critical Thinking.

Le jeu multimédia interactif Énergise-toi avec Neurox sera distribué cet automne dans le réseau scolaire québécois. Il vise à initier les jeunes au secteur de l’industrie électrique et électronique et à découvrir les possibilités de carrière qui s’y rattachent.
Produit par le Conseil de développement du loisir scientifique (CDLS), Hydro-Québec et le Comité sectoriel de la main-d’œuvre de l’industrie électrique et électronique (CSMOIÉÉ), le jeu Neurox facilitera la tâche aux enseignants de sciences physiques et aux intervenants en choix de carrière. Parmi les carrières dont il est question, soulignons ingénieur civil, ingénieur électrique, ingénieur mécanique, monteur de pièces, représentant technique, technicien d’automatismes, etc.
La clientèle cible est composée des élèves de 4e année du secondaire. Le jeu est réalisé en 3D et fonctionne avec un ordinateur de type PC seulement, Pentium III ou plus.
