If your child has gotten to know an e-mail pal better and you are considering using  a web camera with video conferencing software like MS Netmeeting, remember that it might seem to assure the e-mail pal is a child to see interactive video of a child, however, there is a risk the child is fronting for a pedophile and there is a risk a pedophile is intercepting the video. For extra security when not using a web camera on your system, you can unplug the camera.
