iEARN-Canada has been active in iEARN since 1992. Originally
based with the Alberta Global Education Project, iEARN-Canada is
now coordinated by educators based also in Alberta who are
affiliated with SchoolNet Canada. Both English and
French-speaking communities are actively involved. Since the
1990s, iEARN-Canada staff have facilitated the "Kids from Kanata"
project, linking native schools. Schools have an interest in
                                 environmental and literary projects.
