Latest news about this site (May 10, 2003)

The site has finally been updated with new information. There are now about 800 questions with answers up, and several answers have been updated to reflect current information.

It seems that the parent site (www.dsm.org) is going to remain unmaintained. The *.dsm.org URLs are running on autopilot but it is anybody's guess as to how long this might continue. Accordingly, I ask everyone who uses these pages to change their bookmarks to the true URL of http://members.shaw.ca/costall/1000Q.

The demise of www.dsm.org has made this site even more important for DSM enthusiasts, and I hope to maintain it for quite a while longer. Unfortunately, my updates are getting further and further apart, and I'm getting less and less motivated to continue on a project that seems to command little attention these days. This last update was done while visiting relatives.

To make matters worse, this site relied heavily on sites such as pics.dsm.org and www.dsm.org for important linked information and capabilities such as searching. Much of this information has become completely unavailable because the current generation of DSM owners have not stepped up to provide support for these sites. I expect that when I quit hosting this site it will be lost forever, as no one is likely to take even the trivial effort required to host it in my absence.

Finally, as the site has expanded things have gotten a little disorganized. The effort required to fix it all is beyond me right now. Still, there is a lot of information here and most of it is pretty well organized.

Also, due to the large amount of junk e-mail I get through this site, my email address has changed.
