The search function for this site has been broken for some time. The search was being run through the search server of www.dsm.org, which is a site not under my control.
www.dsm.org is the 'parent' site for the majority of DSM web pages currently available on the net. As the home site for the Talon Digest, it hosts mailing list archives and a search facility. These services have experienced problems in 2001 and 2002 as the site owner struggles to keep them going in the face of outside pressures. As of this date, the site is going up and down as the owner moves locations. Because of this there are many links on the 1000AAQ pages that will not function.
The situation at www.dsm.org is changing daily. It is possible that you may be able to access information from www.dsm.org that you can not get to from the 1000AAQ; links may be out of date. To see what is current on www.dsm.org, click here.
Also, the picture site pics.dsm.org, which hosted many informative photos of DSMs, custom installations and the original factory brochures, has also gone down indefinitely, meaning that the links to that site will not work either. In that case the site owner was no longer able to afford to maintain the site. He currently needs help in getting the site back up to date. If you are able to help out, please click here.
Finally, there are many links to third-party web pages that have become unavailable over the course of time. I intend to fix many of these but it is the nature of the internet for information to change locations or be taken down.
In order to help alleviate the searching problem, I have added in a site search using the free tools available from Google. This search works beautifully (for the moment, anyway) and will provide a nice alternative to www.dsm.org during the server transition.
