Tip #1: Restricting your search

Google supports the use of site-specific searching. To effectively search the 1000AAQ site using Google, use the Advanced Search feature with the following parameters:

• Set the "Domain" field to be "members.shaw.ca"; and
• including "1000AAQ" as one of your search terms.

This will effectively restrict the search to only the 1000AAQ pages. You do not need to do this when using the 1000AAQ search box, as these parameters are automatically set for you.

Tip #2: Searching within the results

You can easily search through the results using the Google Toolbar. After searching the site from Google.com, use the keyword search buttons on the toolbar to skip immediately to the keywords you are looking for. Note: this feature will not work if you use the search box on the 1000AAQ pages, only from the Google.com home page.
