Mount Moriarty

Mount Moriarty is a medium sized hike, about 3 hours up a fairly steep trail. You  then hike along a seemingly never-ending ridge, of which we are looking back upon here. To the right is the lovely Labour Day Lake. Getting there is the same as driving to Mt Arrowsmith, but you continue along the logging road another 20 kms or so. Knight (or Indian) Lake can also be seen in the background.

Here's Dom on the summit. It is an elevation of 1,596 m. The 4 km trail climbs over 700m. We are looking south over the approach along the ridge, where there are very steep cliffs to either side. This trip occurred June 29, 2002
