Lorenzo was our first experience at importing a dog internationally.  He came from Zagreb Kennels in Argentina.  His breeder, Andrea Paccagnella, was wonderful and made the whole experience very smooth for us.  He had an wonderful puppy show career by winning Best Puppy at the Canadian Specialty and Best Puppy in Group as well.  He finished his championship quickly.  We imported him for a few reasons.  Our line was needing some new genes added to the pool.  He gave us more chest, better bone, and wonderful BLACK pigment.  Most importantly, he has the best laid back, gentle, loving temperment I have ever seen in a dog.  We love him dearly.  He has added to our dogs what we needed to get and now we can carry on with our vision as breeders.  He produced one litter for us and another for some friends.  He produces black and liver spotted kids.
     He now lives in Finland, moving there just a short time ago.  We felt that he had so much to contribute to the breed that we just couldn't keep him to ourselves.  He has some new girlfriends that he is playing with and his new owners couldn't be happier.
     Lorenzo has passed on one particular trait that is just too funny!  He will sit on a kitchen chair if there is one available.  We thought "oh how cute!"  Then his daughter Sara started doing it as well.  We figured it was just a case of "monkey see, monkey do".  Well, it was then reported to us that his son Ember does it as well!  Ember hasn't seen Lorenzo since he was 8 weeks old. Perhaps not the most scientific study ever done but good enough for us!
