Junior Program
For
graduated Canskaters who are interested in
pursuing figure skating. It involves group
lessons and covers more advanced edges, turns,
dance, skating skills, creative movement as well
as basic figure skating jumps and spins. It is
the transition program between skating and
figure skating and is designed to teach the
skaters good basic skills to be successful
figure skaters.
These skaters are working on CanSkate badges 5
to 7. In addition to small group lessons,
private coaching is recommended once the skater
has reached this level. (maximum of 30 skaters
per session).
Session Times, Dates and Prices
Please refer
to CanSkate and Intermediate programs for
September 2011 regsistrations. This
program will recommence in January 2012 if there
is a sufficient number of qualified skaters.
A late penalty
of $75 dollars to be levied to
registrations received
after Aug 15th
2011.
Payment can be made
with post dated cheques to September 1st
2011, or three installments dated September1st
2011, October 1st 2011 and November 1st
2011.
All skaters must
be registered with Skate Canada prior to the
first day of skating on September 6th
2011. No exceptions.
Please note, there
will be a volunteer commitment this year.
A post dated cheque to April 1st
2012, for $100 dollars will be held in trust
until the volunteer commitment is fulfilled. If
you are unable to fulfill the commitment the
cheques will be cashed. There will be various
jobs offered to meet this commitment.
The club has the right to cancel classes due to
insufficient registration. |
